Interior LEDs done. Took 2 minutes to order, 2 days to arrive, and 10 minutes to install. I can think of no cheaper or faster update to your car that makes such a dramatic improvement.
After some good feedback in oppo !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I took the plunge. Exterior LEDs to follow soon

And next on the updating theme is an amplified interior antenna to mount on the windsheild below the rear view mirror, replacing the old school extending wire antenna which will be removed and have a block off plate added.
and of course yesterday saw the exciting addition of a new louder, lower toned horn. Like all growed up horn !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

That a nice change. Any effect on the fadeout duration on the "theater lighting" if the car is so equippped?

nope, I'd read of such issues, but they are instant on and instant off, no flicker, just bright white light.

So the car did not have a fadeout? The last car I tried LEDs on had it and the duration was increased by a few times by the swap.

nope, I did attempt a brief movie of them on and offing, and such, but the camera couldn't focus

Hmm. I must be asking the question wrong. My current vehicle has incandescent bulbs and was designed to have them fade out gradually, maybe over the course of 5 seconds. Last time I put LEDs in a car with that feature it increased the fadeout time to like 25+ seconds. I don't think it would be a problem in a car that had normal interior lights. Did yours turn off instantly with the incandescent bulbs?

I've got similar ones and there's fadeout. Also, they're glowing a little bit, when the engine is running, but I've heard it's normal for my car ('01 Focus).

ahh I see my misunderstanding. Yes mine were always instant off. So no change

Interesting. Guess I may have to bite the bullet and test a few in mine.
